With the funds from Geneva Global and USAID, we got very valuable Gym and sports goods for Horizon Lanka. They are very useful for our activities. Everyday after we finish our work at Horizon Lanka we have a separated a special time for sports and fitness training with the gym equipment.

But at the moment we do not enough room to place them for comfortable use as we cannot keep them outside on safety grounds. Therefore our parents association took a bold decision to build building for a gymnasium with their funds and those collected from other donors in the area.                          

Then, they themselves drafted a plan for the Gymnasium. Most of the parents volunteered to give different building materials needed for the building. Then they decided on an auspicious time to start work. Some even volunteered to persuade rich people of the area to contribute money. Home guards in the area too, have offered to contribute labour in the form of masons and helpers.

The initial preparations like collecting the materials are in progress. We are planning to complete the construction at the end of the year weather permitting. We also wish inform the interested donors, if any, to contribute towards this project in any form they wish.
