Horizon Lanka Foundation - Bringing ICT and English to the rural Sri Lankan village of Mahavilachchiya, Anuradhapura

Three Horizon Lanka senior students (Iresha, Ruvini and Radhika) and Mr Wanni did a presentation with Intel Chairman Dr Craig Barret at Taj Samudra, Colombo in December 2005. Having seen the talents of the Horizon Lanka team, Dr Barret promised to donate 4 brand new laptops to the team. The laptops arrived at Horizon Lanka recently. We thank Mr Indika de Soyza and Mr Indranil Samaddar of Intel for coordinating this donation. These are some of the pictures of the girls using the laptops sent by Intel.
