Horizon Lanka Foundation - Bringing ICT and English to the rural Sri Lankan village of Mahavilachchiya, Anuradhapura

On last October 7 students from Lak Aruna of Moneragala and Prabhavi of Ampara visited Horizon Lanka. Around 30 students visited Mahavilachchiya with their staff and some parents. While they were here they learn computers, English and music from Horizon Lanka's staff and the senior students. The visitors had free access to internet - something which they can't do at their villages. Students stayed at Horizon Lanka students' houses. Horizon Lanka is happy to help both the projects in this way. We also hope to visit both the projects during December vacation. (Updated: October 19, 2006)
