COMPUTERS TO RANORAWA TEMPLE |
|
Gangani Nimalika, a lady who was born in rural Ranorawa village was instrumental in donating 2 brand new PCs and a printer to the dhamma school in
Weheragala
temple, Ranorawa. The generous donors were
Hilary and Krishantha from the United Kingdom.
The Chief Monk of the temple, Rev.
Pannala Piyarathana, a pioneer in developing the village,
was present at the event. Aruna Wanninayaka of Horizon Lanka Foundation was present at this even to encourage the students and the villagers to use the PCs productively and become a successful project like Horizon Lanka Foundation some day. Horizon Lanka will closely monitor this project and provide support with its expertise. Ranorawa is a small hamlet just 20 kms away from Mahavilachchiya. (Updated on October 19, 2006) |
