USAID OFFICIALS VISIT SALIYAMALA PUBLIC SCHOOL - 2nd LEAD - (Updated: November 02, 2006)

USAID team also visited Saliyamala Public School. Saliyamala got a brand new computer, a laser printer and a scanner through Horizon Lanka. The school also was connected to the internet through mesh technology. Horizon Lanka will also help this school by providing two of its senior students as IT instructors and by designing a website for the school soon. Newly appointed English teacher to Saliyamala School is willing to use her free time to help students to study computers.
